Meta requires apps that access Instagram / Facebook data to provide clear instructions for users to request deletion of their data. This page explains how to delete data associated with QuickDM (quickdm.store).
Quick path: Email privacy@quickdm.store with subject line “Data Deletion Request” and the email used for your QuickDM account. Or use the form below.
1. What we delete
When you request deletion, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize:
- Your QuickDM account profile (name, email, authentication records).
- Instagram connection records, stored access tokens, and linked account metadata we hold for automations.
- Automation configurations (keywords, templates, rules) stored in your account.
- Lead capture records and automation logs associated with your account, except where retention is required by law (for example, certain billing records).
We may retain limited information needed for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution, as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. How to request deletion
Option A — Email (recommended)
- Send an email to privacy@quickdm.store
- Use subject: Data Deletion Request
- Include: the email address on your QuickDM account, your Instagram username (if connected), and confirmation that you want all associated data deleted.
Option B — In-product (when dashboard is available)
After you are logged in to the QuickDM dashboard, go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This triggers the same deletion workflow as an email request.
Option C — Request form
Submit the form below. It opens your email client with a pre-filled message so we receive a verifiable request from your address.
3. Processing time
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying the request, unless a longer period is required by law or technical constraints. We may contact you to confirm ownership of the account before deleting data.
4. Disconnect Instagram without full account deletion
If you only want to stop QuickDM from accessing Instagram (without deleting your entire QuickDM account):
- In QuickDM: disconnect Instagram from Settings → Connections (when available), or ask support to disconnect for you.
- In Meta: visit Facebook Business Integrations (or Instagram settings for connected apps) and remove QuickDM / revoke permissions.
Revoking Meta permissions stops new API access. Residual data on QuickDM servers is removed according to our retention schedule or upon a full deletion request above.
5. Data deletion callback (for Meta)
When Meta sends a signed data deletion request for a user who removed our app, we process the request server-side, delete associated stored data, and return a confirmation URL and confirmation code as required by Meta’s documentation. End users can always use this page or privacy@quickdm.store independently of Meta’s callback.
